Sailor Moon

A manga and anime series created by Naoko Takeuchi, about the adventures of a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino who is able to transform into the heroine Sailor Moon . She leads her group, the Sailor Scouts (also referred to as Sailor Guardians), with the guiding aid of two talking cat companions, Luna and Artemis, they battle against villains like the Dark Kingdom to prevent the destruction of the solar system and their home. This series is known to have revitalized the magical girl genre during its run in the 1990s.
